Why do things always have to be complicated and perfect? Why can't we for once in our life just be straight forward and celebrate the beauty of perfections and imperfections. This is where my childhood memories made sense. The fun things in childhood like scribblings, shapes and crafty paper art came into existence. Absence of maturity and overthinking in childhood is key for the beautiful memories. During childhood the thought of perfection and imperfection didn’t exist. But growing up we are too busy making things right and perfect that we forget to embrace the fun part of imperfections.

A feeling of putting free hands on perfectly made fabrics or materials and infusing my unknown energy to obtain a sense of newness is what this project is. Taking my hands and mind on a walk to create thousands of marks ultimately covering and overlapping the stuff that come across the walk and creating depth and dimensions. With my designs I am trying to find the tension between perfection and imperfection by pushing both to the edge.
